From its beginnings in Berlin in 1990, Deutsche Frühstücksei GmbH & Co. KG has developed into one of Europe’s biggest egg-producing and marketing organisations thanks to both organic growth and acquisitions. The Group produces eggs on limited free range, free range and organic farms in the German states of Lower Saxony, North-Rhine Westphalia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg.

The organisation’s activities are internationally orientated and have been coordinated, since 1996, from Group headquarters in the town of Neuenkirchen-Vörden in Lower Saxony.

We are meeting the challenges of tomorrow that call for animal-friendly farming and we advocate finding a balance between animal protection on the one hand and economic, social and ecological issues on the other.
